Pasta with chickpeas in tomato sauce

Ingredients:
1 can of peeled tomatoes
1 can chickpeas
2 medium carrots
1 medium onion
small clove of garlic
1 tablespoon of olive oil
marjoram
salt
pepper
sweet paprika

Preparation:
Chop onion finely, toss into olive oil with pressed garlic clove, add the carrots (grated or finely chopped). Stir- fry briefly, add the tomatoes and drained chickpeas. Let all stew for 5-10 minutes, add marjoram, pepper, salt and paprika. The sauce is best served with all kinds of pasta, sprinkled with fresh parsley and sunflower seeds. The sauce with chickpeas is a great and healthy addition to groats or boiled popatos – ultimate comfort food.
